Spatial reasoning and planning: thinking about the path before drawing it, following a rule (paths can’t cross) and controlling the stroke.
Age
Ages 4 to 6.
How to play together
- Before drawing, ask: “Which way do you think the cow’s path will go?”
- If a path gets cut, look for another route together instead of giving the answer.
After playing
Draw pairs of coloured dots on paper and join them with paths that don’t cross.
